18th August 2019 A day of the Uzbekistani culture

Trakart Cultural Centre welcomed the long-anticipated cultural delegation from Uzbekistan. The varied and rich cultural programme included the following:

  1. A historical look at Uzbekistan by Maria Filipova-Hadzhi.
  2. Photographs and tales about Uzbekistan by Maria Filipova-Hadzi – a writer and a translator, Eng. LyubozarFratev – a businessman and a patron and George Trak – an artist and a philanthropist.
  3. Presentation of the book “Most” /”Brigde”/ by the author MateyMateev.
  4. Presentation of visiting artists and journalists from Uzbekistan by Eng. L. Fratev and M. Filipova.
  5. Display of exhibits of the domestic life and culture of the Uzbekistani people by M. Filipova. A tea-serving ritualUzbekistani style by Oy-ZodaNuradinKiziZhumanyoz – an artist.
  6. Presentation of typical elements of the national Uzbekistani costume, giving the guests the opportunity to put it on and have their photographs taken. A master class in winding a turban under the guidance of the artists GulnoraRahmanova and AhmatKamolovichUmarov.
  7. A workshop in Uzbekistani dances for children and adults, conducted by the journalist NodiraRustamovnaAbdulaeva and the artist KamolaRustamovnaAbdulaeva.
